Tabata block is done.
Over the last 18 days, I did:
– a total of 9 Tabata intervals over the course of 5 workouts.
– 2.2 hours of SST work over 5 workouts
– 2 races: Portsmouth Crit, Glouster Cross.
My volume was low, so my frequency was high. 12 workouts in 18 days. I did a bit of JRA and a 2 leg openers and some short commutes, too.
3 days were 2-a-days.
That’s it. Dont know if Tabatas boosted my VO2max, but they did make me feel quite strong @ Glouster CX. So, certainly a nice bit of feedback, thus far.
Next week will be a nice test as I start doing some LT work… if I feel like it.
