Special Thanks.

During stage 3 of the Green Mountain Stage Race, our very own Jason W was involved in a crash just shortly after cresting Brandon Gap. He is currently doing well in his hospital bed, but he wanted me to post a quick blog to give a special thanks to:

  • The man that first arrived to help him who gave him his jacket and put something comfortable under his head until help arrived (can’t remember his name).
  • The Branford Medics.
  • The ambulance EMT’s.
  • The Emergency staff at the Rutherford Regional Hospital.
  • And last, but definitely not least, the Surgery Team at Rutherford Regional Hospital.

The end result as far as injuries go were a number of broken ribs and a punctured lung. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery, Jason.

Also, a special thanks to my girlfriend Rebecca “Becca” who has been by my side at the hospital taking care of me and most importantly putting up with me.
