flirting with lactate threshold, training status

friday morning on the rollers I did my first intervals @ 330w (which is right around where I predect my LTP is, right now).

i did 8, 8 and 9 minute intervals, with 5 minutes recovery intervals.

cadence was 97rpm and HR settled in 3-5 beats below LTHR, perfect.

Perceived effort was higher than I’d hoped, but I hit my power marks (331 on each set) and the cardio system felt strong, legs were a bit beat, though.  8.3 out of 10.  Had to really focus to keep the power up.

Next friday I’ll be aiming for 3×10′ at the same power.

Big ride today in the cold… 2 hours with the fixed gearers and maybe an hour of hot laps at the Rez… any interest, BB??
